ST74 Stair Nosing

AS 1428.1-2021 Compliant

The ST 74 clear anodised aluminium stair nosing is 75mm on the tread with a 50mm pvc insert and a 35mm riser.

Due to the chamfered tail this profile can be fitted direct to concrete or timber as well as floor coverings such as carpet (no underlay), carpet tiles and vinyl.

The sub floor needs to be level, straight, smooth & clean.

When fitting over soft floor coverings the total thickness should be no more than 9mm otherwise the stair nosing will wave on the step at every fixing point.

Drilled at approximately 230mm spacings.

Suitable for internal use only.

Available with or without end caps. End caps cannot be used when adhesive fixing the profile and is not recommended for use with resilient floor coverings.

When fitting direct to the sub floor or over resilient floor coverings End Caps are not recommended and a zig zag of adhesive should be used when fitting direct to the sub floor (Adhesive NOT supplied)

Slip Test Rating = P4
